When the lower third of the face or the area between the bottom of the nose and the lower part of the chin is either to short vertically or receded on profile, a chin implant improves not only the vertical height of the chin but the projection of the chin.
If the upper cheek areas are flat or have become flat with aging, a cheek implant restores prominence and projection to this area.
