The injection process is made more comfortable by the inclusion of lidocaine, a local numbing agent, in the JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC formula. You may also request topical anesthetics to prevent any discomfort, but most patients find them unnecessary. Immediately upon injection, the gel will enhance jawline definition. The treatment takes less than 30 minutes to administer.
