What Are Lip Injections?

Juvéderm® products add plumpness to your pout and eliminate fine lines and wrinkles around the lips. The amount of filler that is used will depend on how much filler or enhancement you desire.
Juvéderm® dermal fillers provide a safe and quick treatment that is effective in increasing fullness, smoothness, and definition in the lips. This procedure requires no anesthesia, incisions or sedation, but you may request a topical anesthetic to reduce the possibility of any minor discomfort. The injections take only minutes to administer, and there is relatively no recovery time following the procedure. You may experience slight bruising and swelling for a few days, but your results are visible immediately and typically last for six to nine months.
What Do Lip Injections Entail?
Dr. Garcia uses products from the Juvéderm® family of dermal fillers for lip injections, specifically, Juvéderm® Volbella® and Juvéderm® Ultra XC.
