How Does Restylane® Lyft Work?

Patients will notice fuller skin and fewer wrinkles immediately following the procedure. Not only will the injections increase facial volume, but they also improve the elasticity of the skin allowing for a more youthful appearance. Restylane® Lyft also improves skin hydration around the injection sites.
What Does Restylane® Lyft Treat?
Restylane® Lyft is an FDA-approved injectable filler that treats nasolabial folds and replenishes the loss of volume in the cheeks. The appearance of sunken cheeks is caused by fat loss in the face. Patients with similar issues around their temple, chin, and neck, will also find Restylane® Lyft to be helpful. The skin also begins to lose elasticity, an issue that makes wrinkles more noticeable. Restylane® Lyft can treat both of these issues.
How Long Do the Results of Does Restylane® Lyft Last?
Restylane® Lyft injection results vary from one patient to another. On average, the results last around 18 months. The age, general health, and weight of a patient are some of the factors that determine the treatment’s longevity.
What to Expect from the Restylane® Lyft Procedure?
During your initial consultation, Dr. Garcia will want to discuss your treatment goals and your medical history. A nurse will examine your face to determine if this is the right injectable filler for you. After the examination, your nurse will create a customized treatment plan for your face. It is important that you use an experienced specialist that can determine the correct dosage and injection sites on your face. The goal of the treatment is to give you a younger, healthier and fuller-looking face.

Galderma® produces both products. However, Restylane® Lyft is their newest product and gives physicians and injection nurses more control over the results.
