"I have always loved working for Garcia Facial Plastic Surgery since the first day I came to work in the Ponte Vedra Beach office with Dr. Garcia. My job has always involved various duties in all aspects of the practice which have always challenged me. I have learned many skills during the years and keep learning. This makes me feel good about myself. Dr. Garcia has always believed in me and encourages me to expand my knowledge and learn new skills. I have been fortunate to have been able to perform aesthetician services. I enjoyed performing lymphatic facials and teaching patients how to apply makeup after their surgical procedures. The look on the patient's face after I apply makeup on them and they see themselves looking fantastic actually brings joy to my heart. When I see the patients come in feeling insecure or bad about themselves and then after their surgical procedure(s) seeing the positive effect the surgery had on them, I am very fortunate to get to see them transform into radiant women and confident men. It makes me proud that I work for such skilled surgeons. They are not only talented surgeons, they are caring physicians and that makes all the difference in the world. I get personal satisfaction when I get the insurance companies to pay us. They put up roadblocks all the time, never wanting to pay us for our services, but I persevere and when the money comes in, I feel great. It feels like a victory. This make me feel great. Working with the insurance companies is tedious but I love the challenge. My job is never boring. I have worked here since almost the beginning and have seen the practice grow, from Ponte Vedra Beach to Neptune Beach. We now have a state of the art facility with a surgical suite that is JCAHO certified. The Garcia's are always thinking ahead (and out of the box). I am very proud that I work here. At the end of the day I can truthfully say that every day here is rewarding."
